Henna & I were kindly invited down for a complimentary meal to Burger Base Ilford to try out their menu.

Yes, we’re here once again. Yet another Mc Donald’s replica, your probably undoubtedly thinking. Well, think again, coz these lot have certainly boomed the bass.

Using 𝟭𝟬𝟬% 𝙋𝙧𝙞𝙢𝙚 𝙂𝙧𝙖𝙨𝙨 𝙁𝙚𝙙 𝙄𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙝 𝘽𝙚𝙚𝙛, they really have accomplished creating some decent ‘𝙛𝙚𝙚𝙡 𝙜𝙤𝙤𝙙’ burgers, better than any other Mc D’s replica we’ve tried - something we both can agree on as burger lovers!

I chose this burger and it sure did not me down. I was very impressed to say the least - the bun itself was great, complemented the type of burger nicely. The chicken fillet had an delicious taste to it and was grilled to perfection!👌 The crispy Fried onions and Andalus sauce definitely made the burger for me, the onions gave a delightful satisfying crunch with a great citrus, tangy balance of the sauce.

Henna had this burger, and the 90g beef patty was again cooked perfectly. The crispy onions were definitely more prominent which was delicious as well as the jalapeños giving it a good kick! 😍

𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗻 𝗕𝗹𝗮𝘇𝘇𝗲𝗿 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 £𝟮.𝟵𝟵 𝟴/𝟭𝟬

These were fab, the chicken was crisp, the piri piri seasoning gave the french fries a nice flavour. The spicy DZ sauce was also great, it had a great flavour profile which wasn’t too strong.

𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗸𝘀 𝗥𝗲𝗱𝗛𝗼𝘁 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝟯𝗽𝗰𝘀 £𝟭.𝟵𝟵 𝟳/𝟭𝟬

Some regular chicken wings tossed in that well know Franks buffalo sauce, tasted pretty good however, could have done with some more excess sauce.

These were also pretty regula, but tasted pretty good with their dipping sauces!

Here me out, Mc Donald’s Mc Flurry but with more toppings. This replica doesn’t hold back on taste, the soft serve ice cream itself tastes exactly like Mc Ds.

The service itself was fantastic. The staff were very kind, friendly and accommodating.
